The El Rophe (El Ro-fay) Center is a unique Christian family counseling ministry for individuals and families. Here, the Word of God is held as the ultimate authority as the basis for counseling. Each member of our dedicated staff seeks to blend the Word of God with sound clinical psychiatric principles.

We recognize the nature, dignity and destiny of each person as created in the image of God. We believe that all persons are sensitive human beings whose physical, emotional and spiritual health may be adversely affected by illness, tragedy, unfavorable circumstances or poor choices. Based on these principles, El Rophe provides a caring therapeutic environment for the entire person--body mind and spirit. Thus we chose the name, "El Rophe," Hebrew for "God Heals."

The El Rophe Center also seeks to be an extension of the church into the community by teaching people to put Scriptural truth and psychological principles to work in their lives by means of radio, seminars, mental health literature and the internet. As such we invest our resources of time, love and commitment into this ministry. Our operating expenditures are considerable and we endeavor to keep our counseling fees as low as possible. However that is only attainable through God’s people reaching out to encourage others. The El Rophe Center is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt agency. We welcome any individual, group or church who would like to help us in our mission to provide help for as many hurting people as possible.
